Microsoft has announced the appointment of Aparna Gupta as the company's new Global Delivery Center (GDC) leader. In her new role, Gupta will spearhead customer innovation and delivery excellence.
The GDC arm was established in 2005 in Hyderabad and focuses on deliveries of Industry solutions to Microsoft's partners. It also includes Centers of Excellence (CoE) in app innovation, data and AI, infra and security, and finally, business applications. They also perform delivery management and adoption management.

Gupta joined Microsoft six years ago as the lead for the company's Commercial Software Engineering (CSE). She has contributed heavily to the company's business and oversaw the establishment of the Customer Success Unit (CSU).
