Nikon D800 with 36MP sensor likely by year end

There’s a lot of excitement when companies like Nikon and Canon launch high-end full-frame sensor DSLR cameras. The D700 and the D3 line of DSLRs have been around a while now. The D700 was launched way back in 2008 and an upgrade has been long overdue. According to Digicame-info, a D800 is on the way. The camera is likely to have a 36MP sensor onboard. Continuous shooting mode allows for upto 4 fps shooting and 6 fps with the additional battery pack. There’s full HD 1080p video recording capability at 30 frames per second. External microphone can also be connected and there’s likely to be USB 3.0 support, which means much better transfer speeds. Click here for full story
