The Trinamool Congress (TMC) and JD(U) have reportedly said in their reports about electoral bonds for 2018-19 that they received sealed envelopes from unidentified sources at their party offices in Kolkata and Patna. As a result, they claim they don't know who the donors are.

The ruling party in West Bengal, the TMC, hasn't revealed the names of donors who contributed almost Rs 75 crore in total between July 16, 2018, and May 22, 2019, as per a Times of India report. However, they mentioned that these donors' identities can be traced using the unique numbers of electoral bonds issued by the State Bank of India (SBI).
Meanwhile, the JD(U) has disclosed the identities of donors who contributed Rs 3 crore out of the Rs 13 crore the party received in April 2019. The party led by Nitish Kumar revealed the names of two donors: Shree Cement Limited in Ajmer and Bharti Airtel Limited in Gurugram, which donated Rs 2 crore and Rs 1 crore respectively, according to the same report.

On March 17, the Election Commission of India (ECI) provided additional details concerning the electoral bonds, including data on the amount redeemed by each political party.
