Opposition storm likely to continue rocking Parliament

The Opposition storm is likely to rock the Parliament on Wednesday as well even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to speak on the motion of thanks.

The Congress seems to be going all out to target the NDA government with party president Sonia Gandhi chairing a strategy meeting with senior party leaders on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, chaos ruled both houses of Parliament with the Opposition creating ruckus over a barrage of issues. While AIADMK stalled proceedings demanding action against Karti Chidambaram, other opposition parties raised slogans over MoS HRD Ram Katheria's anti-Muslim remark.

Proceedings of Lok Sabha were virtually washed out on Tuesday following unabated noisy protest by AIADMK members demanding action against former finance minister P Chidambaram's son Karti on the Aircel-Maxis issue.
