The three-coach metro trains will have a speed of 90 kmph and accommodate specially-abled passengers. They will be fully air-conditioned with seating for 50 passengers and standing space for 300. Residents of Indore and Bhopal can expect metro facilities on the first two tracks by June 2024, with the entire project slated for completion by December 2026.
