India will host the 13th edition of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup across 10 iconic venues as hordes of passionate fans will watch the biggest cricketers on the planet put on a show for their respective countries.
Narendra Modi Stadium: The stadium that will host the opener and the final, the largest sports stadium in the world will also host the epic India vs Pakistan encounter thriller. M.A. Chidambaram Stadium: Sunny Chennai is expected to provide a different experience to Bengaluru with its humid climate and slow and low pitch. Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium: Easily one of the prettiest stadiums in the country with its picturesque views, the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium is another venue that is expected to produce high-scoring thriller thanks to its small boundary (64 metres). Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium: Another new venue in this list, Lucknow’s cricket stadium has not seen much international cricket action since its completion in 2017. Wankhede Stadium: The unofficial ‘cricket capital’ of India has a rich pedigree of great matches and great players. This colossal venue was the platform for India's ODI World Cup win in 2011 when Dhoni 'finished off in style' that saw the Men in Blue lift the trophy after 28 years.
MCA International Stadium: The nearly 43,000-seater is another venue that is expected to produce exciting contests thanks to its true pitch and small boundaries.
