Except for dairy prices that rose, the other components of the FAO Food Price Index declined in September. Domestic inflation in cereals and pulses remains a concern

The FAO Food Price index fell by 0.5 percent in October, over September, and would have fallen further but for a 2.2 percent increase in dairy prices.
