Mumbai Rains

Mumbai experienced intense rainfall exceeding 300 mm at multiple locations from 1 am to 7 am today, causing waterlogging and disrupting suburban train services in low-lying areas.

Maharashtra is expected to get intense rain for three or four days, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). From July 8 to July 10, 2024, the Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada areas are expected to see intense rainfall, according to the MeT department.

“Due to weather and subsequent air traffic congestion, flights to/from #Mumbai are impacted. Do keep a tab on your flight status at…," IndiGo wrote on X.

Many BEST buses deviated from their usual route due to waterlogging caused by rain, according to BEST Bus Transport.

Central Railways said that due to waterlogging at various railway stations in Mumbai Division today, the following trains stand cancelled:
1) 12110 (MMR-CSMT)
2) 11010 (PUNE-CSMT)
3) 12124 (PUNE CSMT DECCAN)
4) 11007 (PUNE-CSMT DECCAN)
5) 12127 (CSMT-PUNE INTERCITY EXP)
