Delhi Rains LIVE Updates: Traffic closed on one lane on Vikas Marg from ITO due to ongoing work on Yamuna river
The Delhi Police on Monday said traffic has been closed on one lane on Vikas Marg from ITO towards Laxmi Nagar due to the ongoing work on the Yamuna river. The police took to Twitter and urged commuters to plan their journey accordingly.
"Traffic is affected in one lane on Vikas Marg in the carriageway from ITO towards Laxmi Nagar due to ongoing work on the Yamuna river. Due to this, the right turn has been closed from 5 PM to 9 PM for commuters, coming from W point side. They may take U-turn from express cut for Laxmi Nagar. Commuters are advised to plan their journey accordingly," it tweeted.
The Yamuna in Delhi flowed more than a metre above the danger mark of 205.33 metres Monday morning, with authorities suspending the movement of trains on the Old Railway Bridge (ORB). (PTI)

The Northeast regions of the country have been seeing lesser Monsoon rains with heavy showers remaining out of sight. During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, Majbat recorded 51 mm of rain, Imphal 19 mm, Golaghat 15 mm, North Lakhimpur 12 mm, and Guwahati 4 mm.

Gujarat Rains LIVE Updates: Building collapses in Junagadh, NDRF reaches site
- A two-storeyed building collapsed in Gujarat's Junagadh on July 24 afternoon. Several people are feared to be trapped inside the collpased building.
- The NDRF has already arrived at the site for rescue operations.
- Junagadh has been receiving incessant rainfall for the past few days, resulting in waterlogging and submergence of low-lying areas. Several vehicles are reported to have been washed away as well.
Mumbai Rains LIVE Updates: Tulsi lake overflows; water stock in all seven lakes rises
- As per data shared by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the collective water stock across all seven lakes of the city has touched 52.84 percent at 14,47,363 million litres as of July 24. The heavy rains in the city have been contributing to this rise in the water level in these lakes.
- These seven lakes are Upper Vaitrna, Modak Sagar, Tansa, Middle Vaitrna, Bhatsa, Vehar, and Tulsi.
- The Tulsi lake has been overflowing since July 20, as per the civic authority.

- Parts of the city witnessed light showers early in the morning of July 24. As per civic officials, there have been no reports of waterlogging.
- According to a civic official, Mumbai, along with its eastern and western suburbs, received an average rainfall of 58.42 mm, 69.15 mm, and 70.41 mm, respectively, in the past 24 hours till 8 am on July 24.

- Two lanes of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway from Pune to Mumbai have been opened for vehicle movement, as per an official.
- As per the highway police, the Pune to Mumbai route on the expressway will be shut down between 12 noon and 2 pm on July 24 to remove debris and heavy stones rolling down the hills due to the rain-triggered landslide.
- The third lane has still not been opened as there is a fear of more landslides, and it isadjacent to the hilly terrain, said an official.
