Russian President Vladimir Putin on India's 76th Republic Day sent his best wishes to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, commending India's progress over the past 75 years.

In his message, Putin said " Honourable Mrs President, Honourable Mr Prime Minister, Please accept sincere congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday - the Republic Day."

Putin praised India’s achievements in socio-economic growth, scientific advancements, and global prominence. He also emphasized the lasting and strong strategic partnership between Russia and India.

India and Russia have shared a long history of strong and prosperous bilateral ties dating back to the Soviet era.
