Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is scheduled to hold a press conference at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday at 12 PM. Speculation is swirling that Gandhi may unveil what he earlier described as a "hydrogen bomb" -- a major revelation connected to his claims of large-scale vote manipulation and irregularities in electoral rolls.

During the culmination of his 16-day ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, Gandhi had targeted the BJP sharply, asserting that “the forces who murdered Mahatma Gandhi are now trying to destroy the Constitution of India.” He linked his campaign to a broader fight to protect the democratic rights of citizens, calling the alleged vote theft “a theft of rights, reservation, employment, education, democracy.”

Gandhi had earlier, on September 1, issued a warning to the ruling party, claiming that what had been exposed in Mahadevpura was merely an “atom bomb.” “I want to say to the people of BJP, that, in Mahadevpura, we had shown atom bomb, but soon we will come with hydrogen bomb, BJP get ready. Their truth will be shown to the country,” he had declared.

Speaking in Patna, the Congress leader accused the BJP of attempting to undermine the foundational values of the Indian Constitution, saying, “The forces who murdered Mahatma Gandhi, the same forces are trying to destroy the Constitution of Dr BR Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi. We will not let them destroy the Constitution of India.”

The ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, led by Gandhi, aimed to raise public awareness about voting rights and to challenge alleged discrepancies in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. “We did press conference and showed to the people. The Election Commission of India does not give us the voter list, videography... We presented proof in front of the country,” he said, alleging that the BJP was working to “take away your ration card, land and give it to Adani and Ambani.”
