In a powerful warning to Pakistan and terror safe havens in the neighbouring country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday delivered one hard-hitting message after another during his address in Rajasthan's Bikaner — barely a few kilometers away from the strategic Nal air base.
During his address, the Prime Minister made repeated references to the word "Sindoor", which was the codename of the operation launched by Indian forces to destroy terror targets in Pakistan and PoK as retribution for the Pahalgam attack.
"Jo sindoor mitane nikle the, unhe mitti mein milaya hai (Those who tried to wipe Sindoor have been turned into dust)," PM Modi said, referring to the perpetrators of the deadly attack in J&K in which terrorists targeted only male tourists.
Here are the key hard-hitting quotes from PM Modi's address:
* Those who shed India's blood, their accounts have been settled. Those who thought India would remain silent are hiding in their homes today. Those who were proud of their weapons are today buried in its debris. Those who tried to wipe Sindoor have been turned into dust.
* This is a new Bharat which eliminates terrorism completely. We struck at the heart of terror infrastructure (in Pakistan). This is the new normal.
* Not blood but garam (hot) sindoor boils in Modi's veins.
* In response to the attack on April 22, we destroyed nine biggest terror hideouts in 22 minutes. The entire world watched, and even the enemies witnessed the outcome when 'Sindoor barood ban jata hai'.
* Pakistan used to spread fear in India through terror. But Pakistan forgot that now Modi is standing guard to save "Maa Bharti".
* Pakistan couldn't destroy the airbase here and not far from here their Rahim Yar Khan air base is in ICU becasue of India's air strikes.
* Pakistan will not get water that rightfully belongs to India, it will have to pay heavy price for playing with blood of Indians.
* India has made it clear, Pakistan army and its economy will have to pay heavy price for every terrorist attack.
* There will be neither trade nor talks with Pakistan; if talks, then only about Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
* India is not going to be scared of nuclear threats.
