In a post in Hindi on X, Modi said, "Held a 'chaai pe charchaa' at the house of sister Meera ji, the 10th-crore beneficiary of Ujjwala Yojana, along with her family members in Ayodhya. I felt very satisfied to know how government schemes have made the life of the entire family easier." (Image: PTI)

A statement by the Uttar Pradesh government said the prime minister had tea at the residence of the beneficiary of the Ujjwala scheme and had a brief conversation with her. This programme was not scheduled in advance, it said. During this, the prime minister gave an autograph to a child and along with it, he wrote 'Vande Mataram', the statement further read.
