Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to the Motion of Thanks on the President's address in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, a day after leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi launched an all-out attack on the BJP.

While speaking in the lower house, Modi targeted the Opposition saying that they had to face defeat in Lok Sabha polls even after spreading lies. "The public has chosen us in the world's largest election campaign and I can understand the pain of some people. Despite spreading lies continuously, they suffered a huge defeat," said PM Modi.
