Foreign Secretary also clarified government's stance that the conflict between India and Pakistan was always in the conventional domain

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri reiterated the government's stand before a parliamentary committee on Monday that the decision to stop military actions actions against Pakistan was taken at a bilateral level, without any foreign interference.

Sources said that Foreign Secretary was responding to queries of some opposition members regarding US President Donald Trump's repeated statements regarding his administration's role in stopping the conflict.

Sources added that the Foreign Secretary also clarified government's stance saying that the conflict between India and Pakistan was always in the conventional domain, and there was no nuclear signalling by the neighbouring country.
