Nadella to Jejurikar: This 102-yr-old Hyderabad school is a factory of top global CEOs

Shailesh Jejurikar on July 29 was named as the global CEO of FMCG major P&G, effective from January 1

Shailesh Jejurikar was promoted to the position of global chief executive of FMCG major Procter & Gamble on July 29, succeeding Jon Moeller in a leadership rejig. Jejurikar was the chief operating officer till now and will take charge of his new role from January 2026.

The 58-year-old IIM Lucknow graduate, who joins the club of top Indian origin global CEOs such as Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella, completed his schooling from Hyderabad Public School.

Jejurikar is not alone from the Hyderabad school. The more-than-100-year-old institution has produced students who went on to head some of the biggest companies in the world.

Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO, was Jejurikar’s classmate in the school and both are reportedly still friends.
