Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath attended Pran Pratishtha rituals of Ram Darbar at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya

The second Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was held on Thursday.

The consecration involved the installation of Raja Ram and other deities within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. This marks the second such event, following the first Pran Pratishtha held in January last year.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed the central rituals of the ceremony, which coincided with his 53rd birthday.

The ceremonies  began at 11 am with Vedic chanting and a traditional havan. A key event was reportedly  the symbolic ‘uncovering of the eyes’ of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita by the Chief Minister.

How are the idols of Balak Ram and Lord ram different?

While the Balak Ram idol depicted the gentle innocence of Lord Ram’s childhood, the Ram Darbar will portray him in his royal form—as Maryada Purushottam and the King of Ayodhya. Elements such as intricately designed crowns, bejeweled belts, embroidered robes, and fabrics embedded with precious stones were added to his attire.
