The Court has urged Parliament to amend the POCSO Act, suggesting the replacement of the term "child pornography" with "Child Sexual Exploitative and Abusive Material." Until this amendment is enacted, the Central government has been urged to introduce an Ordinance to facilitate the change.

To mark its Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Territorial Army launched its inaugural expedition from Siachen Glacier to Indira Point, covering a distance of approximately 5,500 km across land, air, and sea through cycling, sailing, and scuba diving.

The expedition was flagged off from the Siachen Glacier Base Camp on July 30, 2024, by the Commander of the Siachen Brigade. The team navigated the challenging terrain of Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh before reaching Delhi on August 22, 2024, where they paid tribute at the National War Memorial. A formal send-off was given by the Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Rakesh Kapoor, and Director General Territorial Army, Lt Gen Raju Baijal, for the remaining leg of their journey.

The team completed their 54-day expedition on September 21, 2024, by reaching Indira Point, the southernmost tip of India, which had submerged underwater during the 2004 tsunami. They celebrated the feat by hoisting the Tricolour underwater at Indira Point.
