Om Prakash Rajbhar’s Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) on Saturday announced a second list of six candidates for the upcoming two-phase Bihar Assembly polls.
The list includes Vashistha Paswan (Ramnagar), Ghurelal Rajbhar (Ramgarh), Ram Vakil Rajvanshi (Karakat), Ravindra Rajbhar (Wazirganj), Rajesh Rajwar (Raniganj) and Radheshyam Rajwar (Kutumba).

Union home minister Amit Shah on Saturday expressed hope that the NDA will retain power in Bihar, spurning the RJD-helmed INDIA bloc, which was "jungle raj wearing a new mask".
The former BJP president, who concluded a three-day tour of the poll-bound state, promised that the NDA will carry forward the march towards progress that Bihar has witnessed "with PM Narendra Modi above and CM Nitish Kumar below”.
"I plead with the people not to trust those who would bring back jungle raj, wearing a new mask," Shah told 'Bihar Samagam', a conclave jointly organised by ABP News and Hindustan.

The CPI(ML) Liberation, a constituent of the INDIA bloc in Bihar, on Saturday released its list of 20 candidates for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, renominating all its 12 sitting MLAs.
The party fielded new faces in seats which it could not win in the 2020 assembly polls.
The Left party had, in the last assembly elections, contested 19 seats and won 12 of these.

Rajya Sabha deputy chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh, in a recent interaction, said that Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party is raising issues overlooked by mainstream parties.
“Issues that have not been taken up by the mainstream parties are being raised by the Jan Suraaj Party. However, the fundamental questions that Prashant Kishor and his group are raising will take a long time to resolve,” he told ANI, adding that he may get some seats. Read more

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said Tejashwi Yadav, a "very popular candidate" and the former deputy CM, should be declared the Mahagathbandhan's chief ministerial candidate. She also stressed that mistakes in seat allocation and candidate selection, which were seen in Maharashtra, must not be repeated in Bihar.
Chaturvedi told ANI, "The mistakes made in the Maharashtra elections, including not declaring the chief ministerial candidate, as well as disputes among the three alliance partners over seat allocation and candidate selection, should not be repeated in Bihar. Tejashwi Yadav is a very popular candidate."

Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) asserted that the NDA in Bihar is united and well-coordinated ahead of the assembly elections, dismissing reports of internal friction. "We are contesting the elections under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar...I have not had even 1% dispute with any other constituent party...We will truly celebrate Diwali on November 14," he said.
Bihar Assembly Election 2025: A look at NDA's seat-sharing agreement
NDA has agreed to a seat-sharing arrangement under which BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each, while the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest 29 seats. The Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) will contest six seats each.
The 243 Assembly seats will go to the polls on November 6 and November 11, with counting of votes to be held on November 14.
Bihar Election 2025: OP Rajbhar's SBSP to contest polls alone
SBSP has decided to go solo in Bihar after its party chief Om Prakash Rajbhar expressed dissatisfaction with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for not offering any seat. The party released its first list of 47 candidates, followed by a second of six candidates.
Rajbhar had demanded 4-5 seats from NDA for the Bihar election, but the BJP and JDU's prominent alliance decided to go against it, prompting SBSP to contest alone.
