Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is planning to redevelop the iconic Kempegowda Bus Station (KBS) at Majestic in Bengaluru into an Intermodal Transport Hub (IMTH).

KSRTC has floated a tender to appoint a transaction advisor to guide the project, which will be developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The Majestic area is a major mobility node, with KSRTC and BMTC bus stands, KSR Bengaluru City railway station and Kempegowda Majestic interchange stations, all located in proximity. The proposed intermodal hub will be developed on around 40 acres of land, covering Terminals 1, 2, and 3 of the existing KSRTC bus station.
