Bengaluru Metro’s Yellow Line: 19-km RV Road–Bommasandra ride likely to cost Rs 60

Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is planning to operate trains at 25-minute frequency with stoppages at all stations. The maximum fare from Purple and Green Lines to Yellow Line is Rs 90.

The 19-km ride on Bengaluru Metro’s Yellow Line between RV Road and Bommasandra is likely to cost Rs 60 when commercial operations commence on August 11.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Yellow Line on August 10 and take a Metro ride from Ragigudda to Electronics City station.

Sources told Moneycontrol that the minimum fare will be Rs 10 from RV Road to Jayadeva, increasing to Rs 20 from BTM Layout, Rs 30 to Bommanahalli, Rs 40 to Kudlu Gate, Rs 50 to Singasandra, and Rs 60 to Electronics City, extending up to Bommasandra, the last station.
