Bengaluru airport murder: Man stabs to death trolley operator over suspected affair with wife

Preliminary probe suggests that the victim, Ramakrishna, was allegedly involved in an illicit relationship with the accused's wife.

A Bengaluru airport staff was on August 28 stabbed to death near the parking lot of Terminal 1 creating an atmosphere of panic.

According to reports, the victim, who worked as a trolley operator at Kempegowda International Airport, was attacked due to personal rivalry. The incident took place at the arrival parking area around 6.30pm.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), responsible for airport security, immediately apprehended the accused, identified as Ramesh. He was then handed over to the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) police.

Preliminary probe suggests that the victim, Ramakrishna, was allegedly involved in an illicit relationship with the accused's wife. Both Ramakrishna and Ramesh hail from Karnataka's Tumakuru district.
