All India Mahila Congress president Alka Lamba faced the wrath of the BJP after she mistakenly called "Operation Sindoor" as "Operation Blue Star" during a press briefing at the AICC office in New Delhi.

"Sessions of Parliament should be called and both the Houses of the Parliament should be briefed on ‘Operation Blue Star’ by the government," Lamba said during the press conference.

Lamba criticised Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, accusing them of showing disregard for the victims and incidents of the Pahala attack while trying to claim credit for ‘Operation Sindoor’.

The event featured a video highlighting a controversial statement made by BJP MP Vijay Shah about Colonel Sophiya Qureshi.

Lamba also brought up remarks by Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, who had said that both the Indian armed forces and the nation bow before Prime Minister Narendra Modi for initiating ‘Operation Sindoor’ in retaliation for Pakistan’s terror strike.
