A 25-year-old man was shot dead near his house in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh by four assailants on bikes early on Friday, with police suspecting a personal dispute as the motive.
The incident occurred when the man, identified as Haris alias Katta, was standing near his house, waiting to have 'sehri' (the pre-dawn meal consumed by Muslims before fasting for Ramzan), News18 reported.
The incident was caught on a CCTV.

According to the footage, the incident took place at around 3:15 am when Haris was standing with another man. The other man then moved to sit on a ledge and Haris can be seen watching two bikes pulling up next to him.
On witnessing the bike coming closer to him with pillion rider pointing a gun towards him, Haris turned and tried to shield himself, but the pillion rider shot Haris multiple twice in quick succession. Following this, he fell on the ground. The man, sitting near him, ran away.
Another shooter from the second bike also got down and shot multiple rounds at him. Then the four assailants got on the bikes and fled from the spot.
According to NDTV, police officials said the attack on Haris was probably the result of an enmity, but other angles are also being investigated.
“We received information about the shooting around 3.30 am. Haris was taken to a hospital immediately, where he died. A case has been registered and investigation is on," Assistant Superintendent of Police Mayank Pathak said.
