22-year-old Telangana student shot dead at gas station in US

A youth from Khammam district in Telangana was reportedly shot dead by miscreants while working at a gas station in the United States.

According to a PTI report, 22-year-old Sai Teja Nukarapu was shot dead in the gas station near Chicago early Saturday morning, BRS MLC Madhusudan Thatha said, citing preliminary information received from the US.

As per the MLC, Sai Teja was not on duty when the incident took place but was helping a friend who had asked him to stay late. The friend had gone out on some work.

Sai Teja, who completed his BBA from India, was pursuing an MBA in the United States. One of the relatives of the victim told PTI that the deceased was doing a part-time job. It is sad to know that Sai Teja was shot dead when he stayed on at the place of work to help a friend, the relative said.
