The eminent Pablo Picasso once said every child is an artist, but the problem is how to remain an artist when he grows up.

Perhaps that is the reason for the large number of art schools that attempt to keep alive the art in a child-like mind. But as someone said, art schools do not just teach give knowledge or art but awaken the imagination and creativity that lies dormant in the mind.

Prarambh, India’s first Student Art Festival, is displaying this talent in young minds in its second edition of contemporary visual art festival of artwork of students from all over India. The event is taking place from 3 to 8 December from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm at the MF Husain Art Gallery, Jamia Milia Islamia, Jamia Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi 110025.   

Organised by The Art Route, the event will feature drawing, painting, print making, digital art, sculpture, installation, mix media, and photography.
