“This approval reflects NPCI’s confidence in our fintech applications to make UPI payments more accessible for farmers, shopkeepers, and households,” said Ravindranath Yarlagadda, Founder of Viyona Fintech. He added that the company is focused on building secure and simple financial tools for both urban and underserved communities.

Viyona’s flagship platform GraamPay targets the unmet digital payment needs of rural India, enabling farmers, small merchants, and local communities to carry out digital collections, payouts, and UPI transactions. The platform also promotes rural e-commerce and financial literacy through a network of Village-Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).
