Tech Mahindra up 1.5% on agreement with Bombardier

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft and Tech Mahindra have signed an agreement under which Tech Mahindra will develop the Aircraft Ground Support Systems (AGSS) for Bombardier's Aircraft Health Management Systems (AHMS) for the C series family of aircraft.

Moneycontrol BureauShares of Tech Mahindra gained 1.5 percent intraday Tuesday as Bombardier has selected Tech Mahindra as supplier for C Series Aircraft's Health Management System.Bombardier Commercial Aircraft and Tech Mahindra have signed an agreement under which Tech Mahindra will develop the Aircraft Ground Support Systems (AGSS) for Bombardier's Aircraft Health Management Systems (AHMS) for the C series family of aircraft.The AGSS will facilitate real-time and post-flight recorded data management, fault notification and diagnostic reporting.Lakshmanan Chidambaram, Head of North America, Tech Mahindra said, "We are excited to be working with Bombardier and contributing to the AHMS for the C series aircraft. Our digital tools will support efficient analysis of the data, so that it can be quickly captured and shared with operators."The company is going to announce its second quarter and half year ended September 30, 2015 (Q2) audited financial results on November 03, 2015.At 09:26 hrs Tech Mahindra was quoting at Rs 576.30, up Rs 6.65, or 1.17 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
