See selling pressure in metal space: Hemant Thukral

Hemant Thukral of Aditya Birla Money told CNBC-TV18, "I would be looking for areas where I still feel that shorts are open. I know PSU banks are struggling but in the later half they would be real interest to watch because in the last half an hour if there is some cut down on the short positions there, they are the main candidates for them.""On the other side, I feel metals would see some selling pressure because you have certain long positions were people have confidently rolled. So, I feel that long positions are still pending, so you may have some pressure on metals.""Some of the specific stocks that I would be looking out is like something like a Voltas where rollovers are happened but the stock has moved up. So, you may see some selling pressure coming in. Banking I would be looking for some positive movement in the later half whereas metals and specific stocks where longs are still pending some selling pressure can come in," he added.
