Sashi Krishnan, CIO at Birla Sun Life Insurance told CNBC-TV18, "There are two ways l would look at how the rupee has behaved and its impact on the IT stocks – (1) the IT companies will be direct beneficiary of fact that the rupee has depreciated against the dollar but there is going to be a lot of cross currency impact also that these IT stocks will have because the rupee has a ppreciated against a lot of other currencies but all those companies that have got larger exposure to the US market and are not so significantly impacted by this cross currency appreciation of the rupee. I think will benefit out of this. At an EBITDA level at this point of time many of these companies will tend to benefit."
"You are seeing strong signs of growth in the US market and therefore that means order wins over the next couple of quarters will be reasonably good for these companies. So I would be positive about the export driven companies especially in the IT sector."
