Gaurang Shah of Geojit BNP Paribas told CNBC-TV18, "If one can make a switch that is sell Tata Metaliks and if he/she is wanting to get into the metal pack then my advice would be to look at Vedanta. However, this is purely from a medium to long-term call that I am asking to invest in to. In the short-term my sense is that there is significant amount of run-up in the metal pack and the stocks there in. Looking at that my sense is that one would possibly see some amount of consolidation and profit booking, so take advantage of dips and you can make a switch to Vedanta if you can."He further added, "I would say that on a conservative side at least 15 to 20 percent upside and if numbers are something to go by in terms of positivity and traction upwards then we might revise the target upwards again. Like I said all the metals stocks have run up and so has Vedanta. So, use opportunities on dips to get into Vedanta from long-term perspective."
