Parag Thakkar of HDFC Securities told CNBC-TV18, "In Power Grid Corporation of India, the profit after tax (PAT) was up by 20 percent and some analysts communities were upset with the capitalisation number which was around Rs 4,500 crore that was slightly below expectation. They have clearly given indication that it will pick up significantly near-term itself. So, this year the capitalisation will be around Rs 22,000 crore and which will mean that it will continue to grow at 17-18 percent compounded annual growth rate (CAGR).""Power Grid is a business which is annuity earnings, recurring earnings and it is going to grow its earnings by 18 percent. It is trading at 1.4x book FY17. So, there is a good value in Power Grid considering the uncertainties in the market from the global perspective," he said.
