JK Cement gains 2% on strong Q2 numbers

Moneycontrol BureauShares of JK Cement rose 2.3 percent intraday on Muhurat day on the back of strong numbers declared by the company in the quarter ended September 2016 (Q2).The company's Q2 net profit increased by 182 percent at Rs 40.9 crore against Rs 14.5 crore, in the same quarter last fiscal.The total income of the company was up 6.8 percent at Rs 1,076 crore versus Rs 1,007.8 crore.The EBITDA gained 50 percent at Rs 158.9 crore and EBITDA margin was up 430 bps at 14.8 percent.At 18:40 hrs J. K. Cement was quoting at Rs 962, up Rs 15.30, or 1.62 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
