IL&FS Engg gets LoA worth Rs 675cr; stock rises 15%

Moneycontrol BureauIL&FS Engineering and Construction Company advanced 15 percent intraday as it has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).The total value of contract is Rs 675 crore."The order is for rehabilitation and upgradation of two lanes with paved shoulders configuration and strengthening of Birpur-Bihpur Section (from km. 0.0 to km 106) of NH-106 in the state of Bihar under Phase-I of NHDP," as per BSE release.The project involves engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) with a completion period of 36 months.At 09:41 hrs ILandFS Engineering and Construction Company was quoting at Rs 68.50, up Rs 8.45, or 14.07 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
