Grasim Industries offers great value, says Parag Thakkar

Parag Thakkar of HDFC Securities told CNBC-TV18, "In cement stocks, I see a lot of value in Grasim Industries. There is huge value if you see the holding company discount plus standalone business is also improving. Now they will have a large stake in NBFC also. So, Grasim at this price offers great value.""In the midcap space, something like Vinati Organics looks very interesting. It is 70 percent export business, so will benefit from stronger dollar and raw material is crude oil so again margins will improve, because crude has again fallen and they are going to launch new products in the second half, so I think Vinati is looking very good from a bottom up perspective,"he said.
