Rajiv Mehta, Banking Analyst at IIFL told CNBC-TV18, "In the recent quarter, looking at Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services' disappointing earnings, I think the headwinds for the stock or for the company are two fold. One is from the slowing disbursement growth that translating into a slowing asset growth potentially in the medium-term as well as the asset quality and I think the asset quality was clearly a miss from our expectations perspective."
"We have downgraded the stock from a buy to a market performer and from the current levels we are not expecting a big upside in the medium-term," Mehta said.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 355.90 and 52-week low Rs 179 on 23 December, 2013 and 04 March, 2013, respectively.
