Buy NTPC, Asian Paints: Manav Chopra

Manav Chopra of Nirmal Bang told CNBC-TV18, "One can buy Asian Paints. The stock overall has been in a very good uptrend since last couple of weeks and it has been forming a series of higher highs and lower lows. It has also managed to close above the important hurdles of Rs 640 which is quite positive. So, at the current levels the stock has an important support around Rs 638 and we recommend a buy with a stoploss of Rs 635 and expect an upside target of Rs 670."

"One can buy NTPC. The stock recently has tested its long term averages and has also bounced from its oversold zone which suggests that at the current levels it has formed a very strong support around Rs 137-138. Looking at the overall structure NTPC has also outperformed in last couple of trading sessions. We expect the stock to move higher in the near term. We also expect an upside target of Rs 147 and the stoploss can be maintained at Rs 138," he added.
