Buy Crompton Greaves at lower levels: Deven Choksey

Deven Choksey of KR Choksey Securities told CNBC-TV18, "The demerger of consumer business from the capital goods segment business would give Crompton Greaves a good amount of re-rating because I think the specific investors would start looking at the companies in a respective manner. Both these companies hold good potential in my viewpoint. The capital goods segment per se holds a larger potential. They are troubled with their overseas businesses but at the same time the local business is showing good signs of growth. So, to a greater extent I would remain confident of them."

"Whether it would immediately follow up with the performance in the quarterly performance as we call it, it would immediately follow up with that. Around two or thee quarters lag is certainly given for these companies to get larger amount of business executed. That is where one will have to hold patience in this particular investment. I would think it is a buy opportunity at lower levels considering the fact that it holds larger potential," he said.
