Venu Srinivasan, Chairman Emeritus and MD of In Sundaram Clayton, sold 14.16 lakh shares (6.99 percent stake) for Rs 1,239.99 on March 14 valuing the transaction at Rs 175.61 crore. Srinivasan held 11.78 percent stake as of December 2023.
SBI Mutual Fund picked up 7.74 lakh shares, or a 3.82 percent stake, in the company, while Govindlal Mansukhlal Parikh bought 5.35 lakh shares or a 2.64 percent stake for Rs 1,240.
Shares of Sundaram-Clayton closed 1.16 percent down in the session at Rs 1,260 on NSE.
In the newly-listed Gopal Snacks, Quant small cap fund bought 8.05 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 374.21, buying Rs 30.12 crore worth of equity shares. Quant Active Fund picked up 7 lakh shares at Rs 374.21 per share, acquiring Rs 26.19 crore worth of shares.
Gopal Snacks had a weak debut in the bourses due to recent turmoil in the market. The stock closed at Rs 362.7, down 9.55 percent from its issue price of Rs 401 on NSE.
In S J Logistics (India), India Max Investment Fund sold 80,000 shares or a 2.71 percent stake at an average price of Rs 259.3. India Max held 1.13 percent stake in the company til December 2023. S J Logistics stock surged 3.02 percent to Rs 269.9 on NSE.
In Ruchi Infrastructure, Shantiram Kutumbakam Food Services bought 19.28 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 11.7 or 0.87 percent stake in the company. Shantitam had bought a 0.7 percent stake in the previous session as well.
Promoter group Patanjali Foods sold 20 lakh shares or 0.90 percent stake in the company at Rs 11.71 per share. Patanjali also offloaded a 0.68 percent stake in the previous session.
Shares of Ruchi Infrastructure gained 3.08 percent to Rs 11.7 on NSE.
In Mold-Tek Packaging, Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio sold 2.36 lakh shares or 0.71 percent stake at Rs 804.98 per share. Goldman Sachs held a 2.47 percent stake in the company til December 2023. Mold-Tek Packaging stock fell 2.17 percent to Rs 786.9 on NSE.
In Ind-Swift Laboratories, Wilson Holdings bought 15 lakh shares (a 2.53 percent stake) at an average price of Rs 103. Meanwhile, Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company through various trusts offloaded shares in the company. EARC Trust SC 208, sold 4.43 lakh shares (0.75 percent stake) at Rs 103 per share, EARC Trust SC 228 sold 4.07 lakh shares (0.69 percent stake) for Rs 103 while EARC Trust SC 131 sold 4.10 lakh shares (0.69 percent stake) at Rs 103.02 per share.
Shares of IND Swift Laboratories fell 0.24 percent to Rs 102.75 on NSE.
