BP Singh positive on capital goods, infra space

BP Singh of Pramerica Mutual Fund told CNBC-TV18, "Availability of power was one of the biggest reasons why we had a slowdown in our economy over the last couple of years and once that particular sector is re-structured, it will have a significant impact on various sectors. Therefore, we are looking at power companies, we are looking at those who are supplying the equipments to these particular sectors and also those who are consuming it and going ahead and creating other projects."

"The entire capital goods and the infrastructure area is something which we are positive on because we expect, that is where positive surprises on the earnings will take place over the period of next one-two years," he said.
