Devang Mehta of Anand Rathi Financial Services told CNBC-TV18, "We remain quite bullish on the consumer space as a whole. We feel that at least the so called midcaps and some of the smallcaps in this universe would tend to give very good numbers on the back of the reduced raw material prices and operating efficiencies coming to the picture. We also don’t think any threat to consumption would derive with a low monsoon." "We feel that the consumption trends are quite robust at this point and even rural consumption would tend to grow. Our top picks in this space have always been stocks like Bajaj Corp and Emami which have given fantabulous return in the last couple of years," he said.
