Nischal Maheshwari of Edelweiss Securities told CNBC-TV18, "I would avoid fertiliser basically because still it is largely government policy driven. We do not have a very clear policy as far as urea is concerned, so it is best to avoid."
On January 22, 2014 Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals closed at Rs 40.70, up Rs 1.50, or 3.83 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 71.30 and 52-week low Rs 30.60 on 22 January, 2013 and 28 August, 2013, respectively.
