Deven Choksey of KRChoksey Investment Managers told CNBC-TV18, "The likes of State Bank of India (SBI) certainly remains very interesting to us. We find it quite appealing largely because of the size of the bank, their ability to withstand the kind of even the slowdown in the economy or for that matter relatively slower start of the business on the credit side. Their size is helping them. At the same time from the valuation perspective, they are relatively much better placed and quite safe as far as the downside risk is concerned in the stock.""So definitely, keep an eye on the fall in the interest rates which we are expecting. Certainly saw advantage coming into this bank and the revival in the economy and the stress coming down on the non-performing asset (NPA) at this point of time, which could possibly be a booster going forward. So if you consider all this four-five factors then probably with two years view on this particular stock one could probably add into the portfolio," he said.
