Zee Entertainment Enterprises touched an intraday high of Rs 143.15 and an intraday low of Rs 138. At 11:59 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 141.85, up Rs 4.90, or 3.58%.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises and Star are going to form 50:50 JV for distributing channels. The new JV will have combined revenue of over Rs 2,000 crore. The distribution JV is between Zee Turner and Star Den, reports CNBC-TV18.
Zee Entertainment said that distribution JV has been named "Media Pro Enterprise".
It was trading with volumes of 193,464 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed up 0.70% or Rs 0.95 at Rs 136.95.
