P Phani Sekhar of Angel Broking has recommended investing in auto stocks with long term perspective.
Sekhar told CNBC-Awaaz, "Hike of petrol and diesel prices negatively impacted on auto stocks, but investors can invest in it with long term perspective."
He further added, "Investors should invest in Ashok Leyland and Maruti Suzuki for long term. Stock can give effective returns in next 16-18 months time."
