Sun Pharma looks good, says PN Vijay

Sun Pharma is looking good amongst pharma space, says PN Vijay, Portfolio Manager, www.askpnvijay.com.

Vijay told CNBC-TV18, “Sun Pharma is a good stock in the pharma sector and it’s taken a totally different business model compared to other pharma companies who went in by the ANDA generic route. These people have gone global very aggressively and the Taro acquisition amidst a lot of controversy and they have proved that they can do it. So, Sun Pharma has been a winner on all counts and there is no reason for it not to do so in the way forward.” He further added, “The pharma sector is going through a very interesting stage, there are going to be big winners, there are going to be big losers and my sense is that in terms of valuations some of the midcaps like Glenmark and so on could have more exciting future opportunities for investors than the tried and tested ones like Sun Pharma or even Dr Reddy’s.”
