Midcap will outperform broader market: Ashu Madan

Ashu Madan, Religare Securities feels that midcap will outperform broader market.

Madan told CNBC-TV18, “The theme is that we feel that midcaps will outperform the broader market and that precisely is happening also. If you look at last two months expiry, unnecessarily optimism is built because everybody thinks that 6,100-6,200 is an easy trade and it is on the table. That is precisely the reason that the index is not performing in line with this stock.”
 
He further added, “So we still feel that it is not a particular sector, whether it is select banks, select cement stocks and other stocks also here and there, real estate stocks so I think there is enough opportunity for a stock specific action is concerned. So I feel that in the times to come, midcaps will outperform the broader market.”
