Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "In Sterlite Industries, there is a small rally, trading range and breaking down from that trading range. Metals are out of favour again; they were in favour for few weeks only. Therefore, all said and done Sterlite is looking lower, a relatively easy short sell.”
At 10:05 hrs Sterlite Industries (India) was quoting at Rs 91.80, up Rs 0.40, or 0.44 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 92.15 and an intraday low of Rs 90.35.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 123.35 and 52-week low Rs 83.15 on 03 January, 2013 and 16 April, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is trading 25.58 percent below its 52-week high and 10.4 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 30,855.89 crore.
