State-owned earth equipment manufacturer BEML has touched a fresh 52-week low of Rs 371.75 on Monday after Defence Ministry suspended company's chief VRS Natarajan and said director Dwarkanath would be temporary CMD of the company.
BEML chairman Natarajan is being probed by CBI in Tatra deal and he has been under suspension following CBI recommendation.
At 13:53 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 379.70, down 1.48%, which lost as much as 3.5% intraday. The stock crashed more than 40% in three months.
Its trading volumes spiked 635% to 1,59,427 shares as compared to its 5-day average of 21,702 shares. Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 1,581.24 crore.
