Healthcare firm Wockhardt gained for the sixth consecutive session on Tuesday, hitting a new record high of Rs 2,166.05.

Healthcare firm Wockhardt gained for the sixth consecutive session on Tuesday, hitting a new record high of Rs 2,166.05.


Shares surged 16 percent in six straight sessions while BSE Healthcare Index rose more than 2 percent during the same period.
At 15:25 hours IST, the stock was up 0.52 percent to Rs 2,111.10 on Bombay Stock Exchange.
Promoters hold 73.55 percent stake in the company as of December 2012. Out of total, Khorakiwala Holdings & Investment Private Limited, who holds 63.63 percent stake, has been pledged all his shares. Even Habil F Khorakiwala, who holds 0.4 percent stake, pledged his entire holding.
